Airtable Bring your own credentials

Airtable with Tokard

Bases and records.

What it does

Bases and records. It connects to Tokard as an MCP server, so an AI assistant that uses Tokard can work with Airtable in the same governed way as every other tool.

Status: Bring your own credentials: the connection is ready and you supply your own account details.

How it works

  1. Tokard switches it on for your organisation

Airtable is registered on the gateway. Connections are managed by Tokard staff, so ask us to enable it for your organisation.

  2. You supply the access

Sign in with your Airtable account. It is kept encrypted inside the gateway and is never shown to your assistant or your users.

  3. Your keys decide who can use it

Only gateway keys that have been given Airtable can see its tools. Each call goes through the same budgets, rate limits and guardrails as everything else.

  4. Connect your assistant to Tokard

Point an MCP-capable assistant at https://gateway.tokard.com.au/mcp with your Tokard key. The setup steps are on the get started page.

Safety

  • Access is by key: a key only sees the integrations it has been given.
  • Management of integrations is limited to Tokard staff.
  • Calls pass through Tokard's usage records and guardrails. Usage records hold counts and outcomes, not content.
  • Read the security page for what is stored and who else handles data.
